ABTA bonding scheme is operated by the UK Association of British Travel Agents ( ABTA).
It requires all firms to put a bond as a condition for membership.

For instance, if the ABTA tour operator fails, the holidaymaker while on vacation will be rescued. If the holiday has not been started any money held by travel agent or ABTA tour operator will be return.
