DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF EXTRAHEPATIC CHOLESTASIS

​Differential diagnosis of extrahepatic cholestasis are : 
-stenosis of the extrahepatic bile ducts
-external compression of the bile duct from outside
-infectious causes
-primary and secondary sclerosing cholangitis 
-post ulcer surgery 
-pancreatoduodenectomy 
-choledochotomy with T tube drainage 
-cholecyotectomy 
-rare congenital diseases
-post liver transplantation 
-idiopathic relapsing cholestasis 
-Caroli’s syndrome
