DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF HYPERKALEMIA ( DECREASE IN POTASSIUM EXCRETION )

Differential diagnosis of hyperkalemia ( decrease in potassium excretion ) are : 
-medications - pentamidine, trimethoprim, potassium sparing diuretics ( triamterene and spironolactone), angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, non steroidal anti inflammatory agents)
-aldosterone deficiency 
-sickle cell disease
-congenital 
-renal transplantation 
-obstructive uropathy 
-lupus erythematosus
-pseudo hypo aldosteronism
