​Differential diagnosis of hypotonic dehydration are : 
-steatorrhea with binding of sodium to fatty acids
-massive vomiting 
-chronic diarrhea 
-diuretic therapy 
-pancreatic fistula 
-gall bladder fistula 
-chronic inflammatory intestinal disorders
-excessive sweating
-intoxication 
-cerebrally regulated salt loss 
-decreased reabsorption of sodium in the kidney
