DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF OPTIC ATROPHY

Differential diagnosis of optic atrophy are : 
-damage to retina, optic tract, optic disk, optic chiasma and optic nerve
-optic neuritis
-compression of nerve by space occupying lesions - aneurysm and meningioma 
-ethambutol, methanol, ethylene glycol toxicity 
-arthritis
-multiple sclerosis 
​-anterior ischemia
