​Acid Rain 
Acid Rain is a rain which is contaminated by nitrogen oxides and sulphur which are released into the atmosphere by burning fuels from power stations and coal burning industrial plants.
 
Acid rain leads to environmental problems such as degeneration of coniferous forest, rivers and lakes pollution and destruction of flora and fauna as well as damages to the exterior of the buildings and monuments.
 
Many areas of tourism significance have been affected by acid rain.

It is a sociological term which is used to describe the process and the results of interaction between different cultures. 
 
Acculturation may be achieved by exposure through mass media. As a result, the cultures are affected by both assimilating new ways between the visitors and resident host communities which take place between travel and tourism.
 
Acculturation also sometimes being described as assimilation or accommodation, particularly when referring to interaction between and integration of ethnic or immigrant groups into receiving resident communities.

Accreditation is an authorization or appointment to act. For instance, travel agent by a tour operator, hotel representative by hotel company.
 
Accreditation also means the acknowledgement of level training received or competence of individuals, institutions, firms or establishments.

​Accompanying Person
It is a person who accompanies a registered delegate to any conference. The accompanying person does not attend the business programme but he / she may attend the social programme or special programme.
