Accounting Council
It is a body established in 2012 which takes over certain roles and functions of the former Accounting Standard Board. The main role is to advise the parent body, the Financial Reporting Council on issues such as financial reporting policy or accounting policy. The responsibility to issue Financial Reporting Standards now belongs to Financial Reporting Council.
